Well-designed travel backpack

I just returned from a 10-day trip to the UK, where I used the travel backpack. This is not a backpack for students, or even me when I bring a lot of books and papers with me. But as a backpack for traveling it is well-designed. I liked the side pocket that fit my portable recharger and included a slot for the cord to connect to the phone which can be kept securely in another zippered pocket. The zippered section for clothes in the large compartment let me keep a change of clothes for my first day in case of lost luggage. It would also be useful for an overnight trip with no suitcase. The computer pocket in the large zippered compartment fits electronics and other key papers very well. The different pockets in the medium zippered compartment worked well to keep other necessities close at hand. I also like the small back pocket that keeps a passport safe and the side pocket that holds a water bottle. The only thing lacking was a connecting strap in the front to keep the shoulder straps on my shoulders. Wearing my slippery down jacket, the right strap kept slipping off my shoulder. I expected to use the sleeve to attach the backpack to my suitcase a lot, but found this not as useful. When I needed to carry all luggage upstairs in London’s Underground, I kept the backpack on my back. Similarly, in and out of trains, it’s easier to wear the backpack than have it on your suitcase.
